Safedoor’s big ambitions

Safedoor South West, part of the Safedoor regional composite door network, has announced big ambitions for a ‘burgeoning’ composite door market.

The Safedoor regional composite door network (www.safedoors.co.uk) was launched late last year with the aim of bringing rapid turnaround and quality products to the doorsteps of fabricators and installers.

Composite door specialist DurbinWood [COR] has added the Safedoor offer to its range as Safedoor South West, arguing that the composite door market will remain an area of growth in 2010.

Richard Kirman, Sales & Marketing Director of DurbinWood, said: “If you look at the market forecasts, composite doors remain a beacon of opportunity for the window industry for 2010.

“We have joined the Safedoor Network because of what it gives us as a manufacturer, a great product and great hardware to go with it.

“But we have also joined because of what it also allows us to offer fabricators and installers. They know that they are getting a product that, coming from the Epwin Group stable, has retail, new build and commercial appeal, is quality, that won’t fail and that won’t cost them time in call backs.”

Safedoor products are manufactured to exacting standards featuring a dedicated outer frame from Profile 22 combined with a quality cassette plus the latest anti -bump cylinder and hardware from Yale. All Safedoor products have also been designed to meet the requirements of PAS24 and achieve Secured by Design.

Based in Bristol, just a short distance from the M5/M4 interchange Safedoor South West serves an area that includes Gloucestershire in the North through to Cornwall in the South.

With a 100,000 sq ft production and warehousing facilities the composite door set and prepared leaf specialist carries most designs and product options in stock which means it can offer as little as a three-day turnaround.
